where can i by good conditions used cars/automobiles for sale in Metro Manila Philippines?

I bought a car. It is indeed in a good condition plus i bought it cheap. I search it in http://manila-cars.infinites.net

Why are second hand cars so expensive in the Philippines?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

Check any second hand car on sulit.com.ph or ebay.ph and check it against a similar car on ebay.co.uk and you will see that they are usually at least half the price in europe then they are selling them in the Philippines. I thought the Philippines was supposed to be cheaper!

There are basic reason. Many asian nations have high import tax. So the price of cars STARTS OUT high.

But also in prosperous nations, people have more money and value NEW items and the value of items quickly diminishes with owership and age.

Here in USA people just don’t want to fix cars any more. They hold it for the duration of the warranty and few more years. Then quickly sell them off. The cost of LABOR for repair is high so they don’t want to pay for that.

Good luck…

Want to deal in vintage and classic cars (pre-1945) But dont have the capital. What to do?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

Besides OWNING a vintage car can anyone tell me if there are other wways of dealing in classic cars and profitingfrom them? Would like to buy one, have it appreciate, sell it and re-invest in more expensive models. Dont have the means. Any suggestions? Also: a used car dealer license is on $75.00 in michigan

An honest question. This is a field loaded with lots of people looking to make a quick buck.
That aside, you’ll need to become very knowledgeable on antique cars and trucks.
Most of the well off dealers are the ones who have done their homework and beat on certain cars to become the next money makers.

Why do new cars struggle to keep up with uk motorway traffic?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

I have never driven a new car, only an old Rover 620i and a Ford XR3 and they never struggled to keep up with motorway traffic in SA and Japan, where people drive much faster (160 kph +). So why do they say in road tests that so many new 1.6 to 2.0 L cars struggle to keep up with motorway traffic, which is only 70mph?
This is in Top Gear magazines.

a 1.6 or 2.0 litre car will not struggle at all to keep up on the motorway.
Sorry but your info is flawed.

How much prices below retail can you buy cars at an auction?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

I am trying to get my used car dealer license. I have never been to a car auction before. Normally, how much $$ below retail can you buy cars at an auction? Let’s say good condition 10 year old Honda or Toyota or Nissan – How much can you buy them for?

It depends on what kind of auction you are talking about. If you are talking about an estate auction there wont be as many cars then you probably are not going to get a great deal. However if you are talking about the large dealer auctions with 100 or more vehicles you can buy MOST cars for average black book value or in other words wholesale price. But I will also tell you that Toyotas and Hondas tend to bring top dollar as they are the most in demand. There are repo sales at the dealer auctions where you can usually get very good buys. Once you go to auctions you will get the hang of it. My husband is a used car wholesaler and has his used car dealers license.
I got your email and I could not send reply back so here is my reply back to you

You are very welcome for my answer. My husband is actually a dealer in
Ohio, but he buys and sells a lot of vehicles through adesa auto
auction, the website for that is adesa.com. For more information on obtaining
your dealer license try this website
http://www.dmv.org/tx-texas/dealer-licensing.php
And if you have more questions contact your local department of motor
vehicles (where you get license plates) and tell them you are
interested in getting a dealer license and they can probably get you into
contact with someone at the state level who can be helpful to you! Good Luck!

How should two cars turning left in open intersection place themselves?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

When the different directions are separated except at the intersection and there’s no stop sign, what are you supposed to do if both cars wait in the middle to turn left…and end up blocking each other’s view ?! How should the cars place themselves? The other car always goes to his side of the middle so he blocks my view to oncoming cars, so I don’t even know when it’s safe to turn.

In situations like this, I wait until the way is clear to go into the middle to turn so I don’t end up blocking someone’s way or vice versa. If in doubt, let the other driver go first.

Any one know where I can find cars for sale under $2000 and that will run?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

I need a manual transmission car under $2000 that will run. I’ve tried ebay, autotrader, craigslist… please list if you have a car for sale that meets my requirements and also if you know of any sites.

If you have the cash to purchase this car, hit the used car managers of dealers near you, you are the holy grail of buyers–one who is actually looking for a manual transmission, these are generally just dead as far as wholesale goes and somewhat hard to retail. tell them you want to buy it with a drive first. I know I let sales persons put together used car buyers and new car trade-ins to help consummate more sales. I couldn’t have been the only one that practiced it.

What are some cheap cars that have decent speed and power?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

What are some decent cars that have some speed and power. Somewhere along the lines of $15,000-$10,000 and cheaper. Obviously nothing that great but something that can be modified and upgraded easily. BTW, I’m in highschool so thats where the cheapness comes in. Thanks in advance.

Cars like Honda Jazz, Ford Fiesta, Holden Barina, Toyota Yaris, Suzuki Swift
