When my grand father passed away he left me 3 older cars. A 74 buick electra with 20,000 mi, a 1955 cheve truck (very weathered but with good engine), and a 1943 buick roadmaster with 60,000 original mi in mint condition(all parts original).I am currently driving the electra but i wish to sell it. In fact i want to sell them all except maybe the roadmaster. At any rate i need to know the value of the vehicles as well as the best place to sell them.

New cars are normal goods. What will happen to the equilibrium price of new cars if the price of gasoline rises, the price of steel falls, public transportation becomes cheaper and more comfortable, auto-workers accept lower wages and automobile insurance becomes more expensive?
A. Price will rise.
B. Price will fall.
C. Price will stay exactly the same.
D. The price change will be ambiguous.
Increase in price of gasoline, cheaper public transportation, lower wages leads to lower demand. cheaper steel prices will lead to lower cost of production. so the effect will be B prices will fall
I heard that you can could buy wrecked or un operational vehicles and take them apart to sell the parts and make nearly as twice as much as you spent to get the vehicle…. but i also used to know a guy that buys cars and auctions then fixes them a bit or just sells them as is for more… which would make the most money? and is there somewhere online i could find out more information on doing these types of things?
If you are going to scrap cars to sell the parts, I presume your community does not mind you running an auto dismantling yard at your place?
And you should have an acre or two to keep them as you strip them for parts.
I am curious as to how many people domestically are buying individual car parts online and fixing their cars (or having the part and car brought to a service center) rather then bringing the car into a dealer or service center (paying for both parts and labor @ the shop price).
Can anyone give me a solid number on this?

$15,000 is a respectable car budget for a student, you could get a brand new ford focus or a good second hand audi for that.

You need a dealer license. Check with your states DMV for the exact requirements in your state.
