How come you have to pay in order to buy cars that are repos???

I have been looking for sites that you can buy car repos, but you need to pay for all of them. Anyone out there used one of these sites? Can you tell me about your experiance?

Dont buy from them then – they are selling a list and nothing more. Repos are a great way to save money, but have often been neglected. Check your closest budget auto auction house, they probably have weekly repo auctions. Also use free online auction houses like ebay (or in NZ TradeMe). You can often buy cars for 30% of their actual value, do a service on it as soon as you own it.

If you sold somone a car and let them make payments but they did not pay you all that they owed you so you go and take the car back. Now you still want to get the price you were asking so you don’t just give to the next person you resell it maybe for a little less than you did before

You have to pay because the Bank still owns the note on the car that they paid the car dealer for. They are trying to get some or all of their monies back.
If there was no money owned on the car it would have been repoed in the first place.
