    Mr. Gardner …
Mr. Gardner should’ve told the salesman, “You’d better give me what I want for my trade because you DON’T want me to get cree-dazy with the kung-fu!!

  6. xdj70s says:

    I wouldn’t call it …
I wouldn’t call it “false information”. Remember that the finance people work for the dealer and are given incentives for add-on’s, warranties, higher interest, etc. Smart people shouldn’t count on a car dealer to decide on what they can afford.
I would think that most people would know exactly what their income is; what their expenses are; thus knowing what they can afford after all the bills are paid. It’s called “budget planning”. The dealer does not have your best interest in mind.

    False information. …
False information. Just go through financing first and figure out what you can afford and will have before trying to pick out a car.

ugh I hate how manipulative these kinds of videos are. They’re like “always find a young inexperienced salesman, you have a better chance of making a deal…”

yay. thanks for the self-serving pricky-cock advice.

That being said, this is still a helpful video. :-P

if you truly want to learn every aspect of the retail auto industry go to “dont fear the dealer” for 30 bucks they teach you just as much as any person in auto sales, or probably more! by far the best investment i’ve ever made!

    Never buy a brand …
Never buy a brand new car. Buy one at least two years old. And keep it at least 10 years. I keep mine for 15 years. Yes , you pay for repairs but it the long run it’s the best way to go. And never finance one longer then 3 years.
