I grew up in Miami …
I grew up in Miami and remember these ads well. Jack’s description always followed the same pattern, “Automatic transmission, radio, heater, power brakes and steering…,” and he would always slap the door to send the car on its way. Every now and then they would run a car through that was rigged to fall apart when Jack slapped the door. The door would fall off, the trunk and hood would rise, and the horn would honk. As a kid, I liked everything about those commercials.
