I need a mini van but I to have bad luck when I buy cars when I buy cars. What do I look for this time?

Posted on April 29th, 2010 by admin

I need a new car and I want a mini van because I have four children and my two nieces are temporarely living with me. My last two cars were junk. My first car had problem after problem, and my next car after that I had and oil leak, the tie rods were garbage and it shakes on the freeway and this happen after a couple weeks after I bought the car, and to make things worse I bought this car at a car lot thinking I was getting a deal. Now I need to look for a mini van but I don’t want to deal with another car that is garbage. I just would like a couple pointers on what to look for when I am buying a used car, because I don’t have money for a brand new car.

a thing to keep in mind… Chrysler is no longer going to make the Town and Country. with a 3.3L V6 its not a bad van. i have sold tons of these. my brother in law bought one from me in fact, and he uses it as a family van and a commuter. his is a 2001 Town and Country that was a previous rental. I sold it to him in 2001 with 19000 miles and it now has 172000. The only thing he has really done, other than normal servicing, is the a/c went out last year so he had it fixed.

Right now, since the Town and Country isnt going to be made much longer, they will have large rebates.

Where can I buy wrecked cars for a good price?

Posted on April 27th, 2010 by admin

I’m in Michigan and I am looking for a place to buy newer cars (year 2000 and up) that have been in an accident to rebuild. I’m only looking to spend a couple hundred $’s. If someone could be so kind to give me a website or place of business to contact, or even some information that would mean the owrld to me.

I live in Michigan and rebuild wrecks. If you find a source for cars that cheap, you know something I don’t.The last one I bought came from Ebay motors, enter "repairable".The salvage auctions in Detroit are dealer only and any repairable unit will sell for thousands, not to mention the salvage paperwork that makes resale a challenge.

NEVER BUY ANOTHER BATTERY AGAIN electric pickup in TV news

Battery Electric Vehicles must be made with Discarded Batteries to be Affordable

http://www.filipino.ca/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=30592&start=1&posts=2

For more info, surf for REVIVED BATTERY ELECTRIC PICKUP. Gets 500 MPG-E / MPGe (Miles Per Gallon Equivalent) with the LOW AMP DRAW TECHNOLOGY, which is more important than battery revival.

Although there are other sellers of “battery rejuvenation” info or “battery rejuvenating” chemicals, or “desulfation” devices, no one else has been able to make an entire electric car or truck made from dead batteries; nor has anyone shown an electric vehicle that has been running for 3 years on dead batteries; and, no similar invention else has been chosen as ‘inventor of the year’ by two magazines in 2008. If you surf for ROB MATTHIES THOMAS EDISON, you’ll see what a magazine says about my contributions to the “Tap Water Scooter” and tripling fruit tree growth rates, or saving dying trees.

Check out my classifieds at EVfinder, too.

Also check out my Poor Boyz’ Vectrix video.

If you also want a Free Battery electric vehicle that costs 30 cents a day to operate:
matthiesR @ yahoo.ca

The Globe and Mail newspaper said that there are only 12 licensed EV’s in British Columbia. Down from over 40, about four years ago. The price of gas has quadrupled, but the number of licensed EV’s has dropped by 80% in BC.

Doesn’t that make you realize that there is SOMETHING WRONG with the “standard” EV out there?

If you want an EV that is daily-use reliable, you’ve got to change the “losing game”, eh? Gotta’ think out of the box.

The EV put together by Rob Matthies (me) and Gary Tang with the help of gifted kids and the Vancouver Gadgeteers costs only 3 CENTS per kilometer to operate, including the cost of battery replacement.

One VEVA member’s EV, on the other hand, cost him $2/km to own. He’s sold it since. And last I heard, it wasn’t licensed by the new owner.

Many EV’s are rusting away under the shade of a tree in someone’s driveway. All of these can be REVIVED and put back in service. And, they can all use DISCARDED batteries, like the Revived Battery electric pickup truck — the cheapest licensed four-wheel vehicle to operate in the world. It uses dead batteries that have been revived.

Yeah, there are doubters out there. None of them have an EV like ours. You don’t need a PhD to see that this is the best option for under a $15,000 budget.

If you want to know how we did this, save up ninety nine bucks, and I’ll tell you about battery revival.

Full Version Global TV Newscast. The earlier one posted is missing a few seconds at the end, due to camera memory limit. Taken with a better camera this time. Video quality here is also better. Almost all battery sizes and chemistries can be revived — surf for ‘Revived Batteries’ and see for yourself that dead alkaline AA, AAA, 9V, Nicad, NiMH, Lithium have been revived and sold.

How come you have to pay in order to buy cars that are repos???

Posted on April 25th, 2010 by admin

I have been looking for sites that you can buy car repos, but you need to pay for all of them. Anyone out there used one of these sites? Can you tell me about your experiance?

Dont buy from them then – they are selling a list and nothing more. Repos are a great way to save money, but have often been neglected. Check your closest budget auto auction house, they probably have weekly repo auctions. Also use free online auction houses like ebay (or in NZ TradeMe). You can often buy cars for 30% of their actual value, do a service on it as soon as you own it.

I don’t get it, what good is it to bail out the automobile companies if consumers can’t afford to buy cars?

Posted on April 23rd, 2010 by admin

If people are not buying new cars, the auto companies will still eventually fail sooner or later. Shouldn’t the president-elect fix the economy on the consumer side first, before fixing it on the producers side?

The man confuses me?

Detroit is turning to Washington to borrow money to develop hybrids and other fuel-efficient cars. By the time that Detroit has more fuel-efficient cars to market it is hoped that the economy and demand will have caught up. Also at some point in the future there will be demand for new cars as some of the ones on the road wear out.
