I want to find out how many classic cars of all kinds are left?

Posted on April 29th, 2010 by admin

So figure all 1980 cars and older that are still around being used, possibly still being insured, any and all makes left in the US
Would you start with production numbers and figure 10% are left?

that might be close, but there’s no way to really tell., much more for some and less for others. A lot of the makes run a registry for their favorites…

What are the laws in minnesota about driving classic cars and what classifys as a classic care?

Posted on April 27th, 2010 by admin

1969 Chevy Caprice would that be a classic care

In Minnesota a car only has to be 20 years old to be a classic, as for getting collector plates i would say dont do it, you can only drive your car a spicific number of miles a year and im talking like under 1,000 or less. check up the laws online just google minnesota collector plates if you want the info.

This innovative system will allow you to achieve the benefits of powder coating
small parts instead of coating them with paint. All you need is a compressed
air source (5-10 PSI from a portable tank with a regulator or a compressor),
and an electric oven or toaster oven. For more information go to www.eastwood.com

Im looking for a website that teaches how to draw classic cars.?

Posted on April 25th, 2010 by admin

My son has a project that requires him to draw cars (classic) from different eras. We’re looking for a website that would give step by step instructions (illustrations) that would help.

Used to be one called "Draw Me", then go from there.

Is there going to be a law banning classic cars?

Posted on April 23rd, 2010 by admin

Will Herr Obama ban us from our wonderful cars of the past? Will he truly be that foolish?

In California the Democratic leadership in the State legislature has proposed not actually "banning" classic cars, but removing their current exemption from California’s draconian smog test requirements. If the smog exemption is lifted, then you’ll still be able to *own* a 57 Chevy… but you won’t be able to register it or drive it.

The first step took place in 2008. Prior to 2008 the law said that cars over 30 years old were smog exempt. Now it is cars made prior to 1978. The next step is next year when the 1978 limit pushes back to 1970, making all 70’s cars that are now smog exempt subject to smog. My sons’ 71 GTO will at that point become unregisterable, because there is no way to get a ‘71 V-8 through todays smog limits.
