Well the motor trade must be getting fatter I think, see here how this second hand car dealership feels the need to block the cycle lane with their excess stock? Also, for the most observant viewers, this is a demonstration of how useful the camera is. As I’ve spotted a Police Officer cycling up ahead I thought I’d catch him and inform him on this blockage – given the time of day and how manay cyclists use this route, it could present a real danger. Anyway, when he asks how many cars are blocking the lane, I’ve already mis-remembered or just plain not taken that info in, so I took a guess at 3 but the video clearly shows it was only 2. How about that. Of course I have no idea if he actually bothered to ride the short distance down the road to investigate for himself but for once, at least I can say there WAS a policeman around when I wanted one.

the usual pitfalls of buying a second hand car. Does a second hand deisel develop faults that petrol cars don’t.

Generally there are few drawbacks to diesel engines (apart from spelling it wrong), they tend to be able to cover higher mileages than the equivalent petrol engine. they definitely use less fuel, although this is marginal on long journeys.Turbo diesels are more prone to breakdowns if driven badly and need more servicing generally.
The whole argument for and against is based around costs, if you do low mileages ,i.e. less than around 5000 per year,the benefits are few because the increased service costs outweigh the savings in fuel.

ok so im looking to buy a second hand car a vauxhall astra 1.8 vvt sri xp for around £7000 and i have found one for £9000 and was wondering if you think it would be possible to get the car near that price,its listed on one of the biggest motor groups,and if not how much you think on average you get negotiate with a dealer or any experience you have had buying second hand cars,thanks.

The dealer is likely to have 1000-1500 profit at the screen price, by the time you have added warranty and Road tax I would imagine you would pay £8300 at best.
