The problem with JC is that he’s been used to driving expensive cars from all over the world built for performance and quality wise mostly. But in here, the car manufacturers focused on low budget value conscious buyer for their countries. Get your head right son!

Hyundai cars have improved since this episode. Hyundai is now basically the only Korean car maker. Hyundai owns Kia. General Motors owns Daewoo, Renault owns Samsung Motors. And then there is Ssangyong, but they’re small and bankrupt. I guess what I’m trying to say is, with 80% of the Korean market, Hyundai has no competition. So they can afford to focus on quality rather than price.
