What are some cheap cars that have decent speed and power?

What are some decent cars that have some speed and power. Somewhere along the lines of $15,000-$10,000 and cheaper. Obviously nothing that great but something that can be modified and upgraded easily. BTW, I’m in highschool so thats where the cheapness comes in. Thanks in advance.

    I’m pretty sure almost all, if not all, vehicles on the road right now are capable of doing the speed limit.

    So..buy whatever you want, they all have decent speed.
