    The end was coming …
The end was coming after the oil crisis of the late 70s, cars became fuel efficient boxes. That and the bad safety records of those old cars. Plus now cars are just a way to get from A to B. It isnt some incredible new invention or something that nobody ever had before – people start driving from the age of 16 these days. A car was more of a luxury or a toy back then. Now its just a necessity to go to the grocery market.

    Indeed! Why don’t …
Indeed! Why don’t these car manufacturers today get the message? Bring back some individual styling to cars. You could tell immediately a Ford from a Buick from a Packard. In my opinion, most cars today all try to look the same — no real lines to them – DULL, DULL, DULL!!!
