How many new cars are put on UK roads each day in the UK?

Im doing a piece of coursework on traffic congestion and i need a stat on the number of new cars that are on the roads,,doesn’t have to be every day..can be anything that you may think is useful..sources please.

    The total number of new car registrations in September was 330,295.

    I wouldn’t normally use the Daily Mail, and I’ll have to have a wash now, but the BBC didn’t bother to give the total when reporting the same news.
