I have a old Chevy Pickup, and love it. It has a shift kit on the trans, so it bangs through all the gears, I also can feel and hear the engine idle, and it accelerates great. I drove a new car the other day, and it was so boring, at a red light, i couldn’t even tell the car was running, and couldn’t even tell when the trans was shifting. Why do they make cars so boring like this?

I used to feel the same. Not until you buy your first new car do you understand the wonderful feeling. There is something else even more important than pride of buying your car all by yourself is that the smoother and quieter car will make life so much better when you have your baby in the car. Until that time comes as a necessity there is always now to enjoy a true prrr of an engine or the low deep throttle of a harley. Oh, life is wonderfull!!!!

All of them are not boring, just most of them!
Most US drivers don’t want a car or truck that reminds that they are in one. They want an entertainment center on wheels. So interior noise levels are important to many drivers, they want to be able to enjoy the sound system and not the drive. This means that those of us that want an exciting car or truck to drive are finding it harder and harder to locate something that satisfies our craving for something that can flex its muscles.
